Alfred Jewel

Alfred Jewel

thingiverse

My attempt at crafting a replica of the iconic [Alfred Jewel], based on various images sourced from across the web. This replica is believed to be an aestel, the handle for a book pointer. The original artifact features an enameled picture mounted inside at its base, magnified by a large, teardrop-shaped lens made from clear quartz. Due to technical limitations, I was unable to replicate this feature so instead opted for a paper image, which may seem somewhat unrefined. Despite this, it serves as a starting point. Viewers familiar with the series Detectorists may find this replica of some interest.
