Three needles or pins found forming part of funeral ornaments in the Atalaya necropolis (Maluquer and Vázquez de Parga, 1956). These are elements of personal adornment that were incinerated with the deceased's belongings. The bronze funerary ornaments are mainly associated with burials in urns at the Alto de la Cruz necropolis, as well as Valtierra and others. These ornaments formed part of the individual buried's life. Recent studies confirm a suspicion: it is not possible to differentiate the sex of the deceased from the exhibited ornaments, since they are used indiscriminately for both genders.
