Alfawise U30 Pro - Fan Duct with BLTouch
thingiverse
I designed and created a new, compact, and perfectly fitting Fan Duct System that includes the option to attach a BLTouch and my preferred MK3 Fan Duct. It's finally complete, and I'm thrilled with it - more than any other system for the original MK8 Hotend that I've created or found online. This design is lightweight, easy to assemble, and incredibly compact. After conducting extensive long-term tests, I'm now ready to share my creation with you. The Thingiverse shared version has a slightly different baseplate because I don't use wheels on the X-axis; instead, I utilize a linear rail. Before printing, please test the baseplate to ensure it fits properly around the screw heads of the wheels and let me know if it does or what modifications are needed. All other components will work seamlessly. I also optimized the dimensions of the MK3 Duct to provide an improved fit around the Hotend and Nozzle, resulting in enhanced airflow for better printing results. To create this system, you'll need: - M3 Hex Screws (6mm up to 35mm) - M3 Nuts - A 5015 Fan (Original Prusa, AliExpress, or any alternative) - A 40mm Fan (I prefer the Noctua with a DC Down Step Converter; 12V is sufficient) - Optional BLTouch (Note: I won't provide support for installation - try following online manuals) For optimal performance, I recommend attaching the BLTouch Mount and utilizing my new centered Version of the adjustable X-Axis Endstop: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4550036 To get started with a working Marlin 1.1.9 firmware that supports BLTouch v3.1, check out this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Longer3d/comments/f1t0b1/lk4_pro_alfawise_u30_pro_bltouch_enabled_marlin
