Alfawise U20 - Y-axis stepper motor mount
thingiverse
(Edit: after running it for a month or two I can say it makes a noticeable difference in terms of surface finish.) I realised that the original 90-degree bracket for Alfawise U20's Y motor (made out of bent aluminium sheet) is flexing as the machine is working. This can't be good for quality and precision. I designed what I think is a much stiffer one. It fits perfectly on my Alfawise U20 (probably does on Longer LK1, too). Note: I believe it's best to print it lying flat on it's largest face (the '45-ish-degree' face) instead of default orientation. This is because the greatest forces will also be transferred in this direction.
