I downloaded and printed several different dial indicator brackets which didn't work because the bore for the dial indicator was ridiculously small, measuring only 6.5 mm in diameter compared to my own 9.55 mm, I wasn't interested in one that snapped onto the hot-end housing due to instability issues. The first design used a mere three magnets but lacked stability, so I added more magnets and tweaked its dimensions, if the magnets aren't a snug fit use superglue with baking soda as a filler to keep them in place, baking soda causes superglue to set instantly, increases strength and is easily machined. It works great on my Alfawise U20 printer and may also fit other printers with a steel hot-end housing, using six 10 mm by 3 mm neodymium magnets to attach it securely. I initially set my bed to extruder clearance with a feeler gauge ranging from .04 to .08 mm, then zeroed that setting at all four corners using the dial indicator, so far so good thanks to more consistent bed leveling.
