Alfawise U10 - Bed stabilizer adapter
thingiverse
One of the crucial factors in the Alfawise U10's performance is its tendency to sway during movement, largely due to an inadequately designed leveling system. To rectify this issue, I created a stabilizer adapter that enhances the bed's stability. This upgrade yields remarkable results; it's essential for anyone with an U10. The bed's instability stems from the significant difference between the inner diameter of its springs (approximately 7mm) and the screws used to secure them (4mm). The stabilizer adapter successfully aligns the entire spring system, preventing any wobbling that might occur during Y-axis movements. However, this upgrade does come with a trade-off: you'll lose about 3mm in Z-height. If you prefer to attach an M4 screw directly to the bed using an M4 nut, use the file "U10_bed_stabilizer_up_m4_nut.stl." Keep in mind that this will result in another 4mm loss of Z-height. Be sure to follow the post-printing instructions for a smooth installation process. If you'd like to show your appreciation with a coffee: https://paypal.me/pools/campaign/109337381886602477
