Alfawise/Longer air duct
thingiverse
This is an updated model of my previous airduct (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3929710 - 455 downloads for 2020) for the Alfawise/Longer printers. I made it for my Alfawise U30Pro, but I'm pretty sure it also suits most of the other Alfawise/Longer printers. The new version has a funnel for guiding all the air flow from the hot-end fan through the radiator of the heat breaker. The air duct uses two Noctua fans for the part cooling (as they are 12V and the power input is 24, 12+12 in series equals 24) and one Noctua fan for the hot-end (this time on the outside) with added resistor 240 Ohm/2 W (yes I know it's not the best solution, so you could use buck converter or just leave the original fan if you have earplugs around). The weight, according to calculations, should be less then the original steel holder. A drill tap was used for finishing the threads, all of which are M3 and you'll need some screws - M3x8 (8 pcs) and M3x16 (8 pcs). The only setback of this model is it's close to impossible to screw the 4-th bolt holding the duct to the plastic bracket, so you could just leave it unscrewed like me. It doesn't actually matter as it's strong enough with only 2 bolts anyway. The previous printed model lasted more than a year and I only replaced it as I got bored and wanted to improve it :D As usual, the Solidworks (2020) file is included if you want to make some tweaks or totally redesign it by yourself. Final result - absolutely quiet printer with great airflow. The only noise that could be heard is the one from the stepper motors on the fast moves.
