The Alfa Romeo Spider, an Italian automaker's roadster, was produced from 1966 to 1993 and is widely regarded as a classic design that remained in production for nearly three decades with minor aesthetic and mechanical changes. The first three series were made by Pininfarina in Grugliasco, while the fourth series was manufactured in San Giorgio Canavese. After its production ended, Alfa Romeo continued to use the Spider name to describe convertible versions of the Alfa Romeo GTV (1995-2006) and later the Alfa Romeo Brera (2006).
