The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is a high-performance sports car crafted by Italian auto giant Alfa Romeo between 2007 and 2010. First unveiled as a concept vehicle at the prestigious Frankfurt Motor Show in 2003, it eventually hit showroom floors for the 2007 model year. Named after its eight-cylinder engine (8C) and Alfa Romeo's storied racing heritage (Competizione), Italian for 'competition,' this exclusive car turned heads with over 1,400 enthusiastic buyers placing orders when production was announced. Although only 500 fortunate drivers secured the coveted 8C Competizione model, another 500 opted for its sleek convertible counterpart, the 8C Spider, ultimately bringing the total production run to a mere 1,000 units.
