Alfa Romeo 159 / Brera grill mount for LED bar

I mounted the LED bars yesterday, successfully installing both units with the mount on the lower slab of the grill. The mounts of these particular LED bars were a bit tight, requiring precise alignment to avoid any clearance issues between the "hinge" and the bolt hole against this printed mount. This is something to keep in mind if you use the same LED bars as I do, ensuring the bolts are exactly the right length. Looking at my design, I'm confident they wouldn't throw a celebratory party in Arese to honor it, but hey, it works. --- I needed a simple mount for my affordable Chinese LED bar to attach it to my wife's Alfa Romeo 159 and enhance visibility during dark winter months. This will secure to the scudetto, the front grill of a 159 or a Brera, and can be removed without leaving any marks on the grill, which is a significant advantage. I'm still printing the other one for the opposite side. I believe this could serve as an attachment surface for a larger LED bar as well, but it should work at least with my small unit, which is very lightweight. If you plan to use it to mount a bigger one, you might want to consider more surface layers or higher infill, perhaps even switching to PETG instead of PLA. I'll monitor how it holds up in the Nordic winter and maybe update this in the spring for further advice.
