Alfa 4 VCO 15hp Eurorack Panel
thingiverse
By request, here's the panel design that I use to mount my PCBs, veroboards, and project boards to my panels. As you can see, it is simply two opposing brackets that friction fit to the dimension of the board. The idea is the same for any panel design: I first design the panel with accommodating holes for jacks, pots, etc. Then I add 2 cube primitives along one side of the panel; spaced apart according to the dimension of the board to be mounted. Finally, I subtract a long wedge primitive from the center of both cubes, which is just wide enough to allow the board in but tapers to just thin enough to prevent it fully entering. The module this panel is for is the [Alfa 4 VCO](https://modular.ob1techno.com/2019/04/04/alfa4-vco-prototyping/). I used veroboard of dimensions 73mm x 100mm, 1/8in switching stereo jacks, and standard pots.
