Alfa 159 heated seat control bezel

A friend of mine owns an Alfa 159 with both heated seat controls loose due to broken bezels. The entire control knob is the only part available for purchase, which comes at a hefty price tag. Given this constraint, my colleague asked me if I could create a 3D printed solution. Initially, we attempted to create an exact replica of the control knob, but this approach didn't yield satisfactory results due to its thin walls. To rectify this issue, we strengthened the design by adding walls to all four edges. This modification resulted in a snug fit with the control knob, requiring only slight enlargement of the original part. Fortunately, the bezel conceals any discrepancies. The printed component clicks firmly onto the control knob, raising concerns that removing it might damage the bezel. However, this is a minor concern, as we can always reprint if needed.
