Alexia checked out our scanning rig at the Big Bang Fair and got a 3D scan, which relies on 96 DSLR cameras capturing an impressive 1.8 Giga pixels of data with each scan. We teamed up with CapturingReality.com to process the data - their software is designed to analyze each image, pinpointing unique points on each one before plotting these points in 3D space if they show up on more than one image.
