This memorial honors Aleksander Kaminski, a Polish resistance commander and editor-in-chief of the underground newspaper "Biuletyn Informacyjny". Born on January 28, 1903, Kaminski was a dedicated educator, serving as both a school teacher and form tutor. He also penned several influential works, including methods for Polish Cub Scouts and Brownies, and worked tirelessly as a writer, historian, and Scoutmaster. During World War II, Kaminski played a pivotal role in the resistance against Nazi Germany, operating under various codenames such as Kamyk, Dabrowski, J. Dabrowski, Fabrykant, Faktor, and others. This memorial is part of "Scan The World", a groundbreaking non-profit initiative spearheaded by MyMiniFactory.
