Alexa Notifier Flag
thingiverse
The Amazon Echo AKA "Alexa" is a fantastic tool for setting reminders, making lists, leaving messages, etc. One major drawback, however, is that there's no way to know if she has something for you - no flashing light, no beeping sound, nothing. You could send a text message, email or leave a post-it note but that defeats the purpose entirely. Alexa Notifier Flag brings back memories of those flags used on mailboxes. After leaving your list or message with Alexa, flip the flag up to let everyone know she has something to tell you. With just one glance, you or others will instantly know she's got a message for you. Once you get the information, simply flip the flag back down. The flag itself is quite thin and should be printed with 100% in-fill for maximum stability. The Base Ring parts can be printed with 20% infill, which should give them enough strength without taking up too much material. All the parts have 0.5mm tolerances, which means they'll fit together perfectly with just a little bit of force and minimal cleanup required. The Assembled file is provided for reference only and shouldn't be printed at all.
