Alexa Gramophone (Remix)
thingiverse
This model is inspired by a print that's no longer available on Thingiverse for some unknown reason. This is not my original idea, but rather a reproduction I've made until the original becomes accessible again. Each piece has been remodeled slightly differently and connector rings have been added to the horn pieces for enhanced user experience. Additionally, cross-sections have been incorporated into the bottom of all horn pieces to prevent them from detaching from the bed during printing. These cross-sections can be easily removed after the print is complete. The result will give your Amazon Dot the appearance and sound of a genuine gramophone. I used 100% concentric infill for the horn and 20% rectilinear infill for the box, minimizing the need for supports. Only support structures are required for the connector rings, which may require minor cleanup after printing.
