Alexa Echo Dot mount for wall or ceiling

Alexa Echo Dot mount for wall or ceiling

thingiverse

I created this remix after discovering my Echo Dot was too large to fit in its original spot, so I decided to mount it to the ceiling of a door frame instead. To secure it firmly in place, I added three pockets on the inside walls for #10 nuts that can be tightened with set screws to prevent the dot from falling and hitting you on the head. Additionally, four countersunk holes were drilled into the bottom of the device for mounting purposes, using #10 nuts once again - though not all of them are necessary, they do provide the option to attach it either vertically or horizontally if you're securing it to a wall stud. Edit: I've made the native Solidworks file available for easier remixing purposes. Edit 2: Please note that this design is specifically tailored for the Echo Dot v2 and may not be compatible with the newer v3 model, as I don't have access to one to verify its compatibility.
