Alex\'s Wallet

Alex\'s Wallet

thingiverse

This wallet was designed to meet specific needs and currently uses a Jimi wallet from thejimi.com, which lacks coin storage. It was inspired by Etsy's Wood Wallet design group. The wallet is constructed as a single piece and has five cutouts for Australia's largest coins - $2, $1, and 50c. Access cutouts enable easy coin removal without tipping the wallet upside down. Banknotes are folded and placed on top of the coins, while four credit cards are stacked and secured by a rubber band to prevent contents from falling out. The design is created in Pro/Engineer WF2 and is fully parametric, allowing for customization based on currency sizes (a .prt file is attached). Future versions will use SketchUp for design purposes as Pro/E isn't common or open source. The wallet can be constructed through 3D printing or milling.
