Alex swung by our booth at the Big Bang Fair and got a 3D scan using our high-tech rig, which packs 96 DSLR cameras that capture an astonishing 1.8 Giga pixels of data for each single scan. We teamed up with CapturingReality.com to process the data - their software is super-smart, quickly analyzing each image to find unique points on each one and then plotting those points in 3D space if they show up on more than one shot.
