For replacement sides of Alesis rack mount sound modules like the S4, D4, Quadraverb etc., designed to fit my S4 Plus, but expected to work with others due to identical cases. These are alternative sides for when you prefer not to install the module in a rack, opting instead for a narrower and lighter design without the rack ears. You could always purchase a set of rack ears, trim them down, and repaint; however, we're 3D printing enthusiasts, right? Designed as two parts for easier printing and a better finish, no supports are required. Depending on print settings, slight sanding or filing may be necessary to ensure the components clip together smoothly, followed by superglue if using PLA. A slotted version (vented) is also included for heat dissipation purposes. Although likely unnecessary, as Alesis did not consider it essential, this feature might still prove helpful. The vented version is side-specific, so there are separate files available for left and right sides to allow the slots to angle upwards accordingly.
