Alesis Pro X 12" Hi-Hat my fix
youmagine
I've upgraded my Alesis Pro X 12" Hi-Hat setup by ditching the subpar top cymbal that comes with this kit. I'd been using the original Hi-Hat cymbal paired with a few layers of cardboard taped to its outer edge. Fortunately, I finally got around to crafting something more durable. I designed and printed two identical custom cymbals, one of which is mirrored for added visual appeal. The key specs were 1mm+ walls and a 10% infill ratio - this combination worked perfectly for me. To attach these custom cymbals, I employed double-sided foam sticky tape with an average thickness of 1mm. If you choose to use a different adhesive, be aware that you may need to adjust the part accordingly. Additional features include a SCAD file that's easy to edit and customize according to your needs. If you decide to print one of my files but encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvement, I'd love to hear your feedback - positive or negative. Your input will help me create even better designs in the future.
