Alesis DM10 Module Mount Arm

This Mount arm enables you to relocate the mount from the cross bar to the leg support.\nmy print turned out well and works flawlessly. If I needed to reprint it again, I would modify the module mount hole to 9.75 and sand it to fit. I initially conducted a print test with PLA, but ended up using PETG for the actual print. The print was laid down, with the hole opening upwards. Only minimal support is required where the shaft enters the frame mount. Randomizing line changes will avoid creating weak points. Placing the Module in the position shown in the picture has greatly simplified the tangled web of cables.\n\nI'm currently working on a remix of this design that incorporates a locking system for the Module hole.\n\nIt's recommended to print the test file first.\n\nModule mount hole #1 r=9.75\n used in my file. > #2 r=9.8\n #3 r=9.85\n\nstub for mount #1 10.75/10.75\n used in my file. > #2 11/11\n #3 11.25/11.25\n\nTest Print:\n\n// Mod Test Hole 1 : r=9.75\ndifference() {\ntranslate([0,0,0]) cylinder (h = 5, r=13, $fn=100);\n // r= inside hole size\ntranslate([0,0,0]) cylinder (h = 26, r=9.75, center = true, $fn=100);}\n\n// Mod Test Hole 2 : r=9.80\ndifference() {\ntranslate([30,0,0]) cylinder (h = 5, r=13, $fn=100);\ntranslate([30,0,0]) cylinder (h = 26, r=9.80, center = true, $fn=100);}\n\n// Mod Test Hole 3 : r=9.85\ndifference() {\ntranslate([60,0,0]) cylinder (h = 5, r=13, $fn=100);\ntranslate([60,0,0]) cylinder (h = 26, r=9.85, center = true, $fn=100);}\n\n// Test shaft\n translate([0,30,0]) cylinder(5,10.75,10.75,$fn=100);\n translate([30,30,0]) cylinder(5,11,11,$fn=100);\n translate([60,30,0]) cylinder(5,11.25,11.25,$fn=100);\n\n\nMount Arm:\n\ndifference() {\n // Module Mount Hole.\n translate([0,0,227])rotate(a=[90,0,0]) cylinder (h = 25, r=14, center = true, $fn=100);\n // Module Mount Hole cut out. change hole size below r= and r= in the last line needs to be the same.\n translate([0,0,227]) rotate(a=[90,0,0]) cylinder (h = 25, r=9.8, center = true, $fn=100);}\n cylinder(45,11,11,$fn=100);\n // Mount Shaft 11,11 above and 11,12.5 below if a different size is needed. change only 11 numbers.\n translate([0,0,45]) cylinder(18,11,12.5,$fn=100); \n // shaft\ndifference() {\n translate([0,0,63]) cylinder(162,12.5,12.5,$fn=100); \n translate([0,0,227]) #rotate ([90,0,0]) cylinder (h = 26, r=9.8, center = true, $fn=100);}\n
