Aldi Workzone ( Einhell) 18v Battery Break out Adapter
thingiverse
This is a Battery Breakout Adapter for the Range of Aldi Workzone (Einhell) 18/20V power tools. It connects directly to the power tools as the normal battery would. A built-in spring latch locks it in place and allows adaptation to a range of batteries from other brands of power tools. Specifically designed to screw directly onto the "Makita Battery Mount" created by Gary Platek, available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:352094, this adapter enables direct connection to Makita 18V Lithium-Ion battery packs. Small L-shaped electrical terminals are required, cut from thin gauge sheet metal and fitting neatly through printed slots in the main body. They can be securely screwed into place using self-tapping screws, and should be bent as shown in the photo to provide a spring action to the electrical contact. Terminal lugs are used for power connection. If connecting to the "Makita Battery Mount", use the "Makita 18V battery Terminal" available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2156290, and compression springs will enable an electrical connection without wiring. Note that the Makita Battery Mount appears to be designed in imperial dimensions and may appear excessively small in Cura. Simply upscale it by a factor of 25.4 on all axes to correct the size.
