Aldi revamped their espresso coffee capsules recently. The new capsules perform poorly with older machines. To resolve the issue, I discovered punching a larger hole in the bottom of the new capsules before inserting them into the machine. I manufactured mine using 20% infill and it functions well. The V2 model is superior, boasting a more robust design with a pointed M3*16 screw as a pin. Prior to mounting the screw, I sharpened its tip using a grinding machine on the M3 screw.
