Aldi Band Saw Table Insert / Centreplate
thingiverse
I recently purchased an Aldi bandsaw, and if you're considering doing the same, I strongly advise investing in a higher-quality alternative. One of the notable issues with this particular model is that its table features a 3mm deep recess designed to accommodate a plastic insert, but the included component measures between 1.5-2mm in thickness. As a result, your workpieces inevitably settle into a slight depression when attempting to cut. This replacement insert is an exact duplicate of the original but boasts increased thickness, thereby marginally improving the situation. Although I'm aware that this bandsaw falls under Aldi's budget-friendly lineup and bears their own branding, I suspect it may also be compatible with other affordable saws from various manufacturers.
