The COVID-19 pandemic was a global health crisis that spread rapidly due to its highly contagious nature. To combat this, people turned to various methods of prevention and protection. One such method involved using an alcohol sprinkler system, designed to kill the virus on contact. An Arduino Uno board, connected to a shield module, was used to control and monitor the system. The HC-SR04P ultrasonic sensor was employed to detect the presence of people or objects within the designated area. When activated, the MG996R DC motor would turn on, triggering the alcohol sprinkler to spray a fine mist. A key component in this setup was the HC-SR501 PIR motion sensor. This sensor detected movement and sent signals to the Arduino Uno board, allowing it to activate the system as needed. The KEYES LED set provided visual feedback, indicating when the system was operating.
