My teenage son, aged 15, decided to join in on this project. He created his own design, renderings and FEA report. I assisted with the concept of an alternative bed support and ensured that his work was polished. The bed support could be made from materials such as aluminum or another suitable, dissimilar material to the printing material. While it's uncertain if this will work, it would be ideal to avoid printing a support structure. The bracket weighs 363 grams.
