Albert Einstein Bust 3D Scan
myminifactory
This is a 3D scan of a bust of Albert Einstein from the Usher Gallery and The Collection in Lincoln, UK. The bronze bust was created by Artur Loewenthal in 1930 and scanned in three dimensions by Oliver Laric in 2013. I aimed to replicate the original sculpture at its full height of 34 centimeters. Additionally, minor issues were addressed to enhance the overall quality. To conserve materials and time, the scan was hollowed out and divided into sections. The printed halves were then filled with gypsum to increase their weight.
