EDIT 17/07/2028: I'm taking back control of the J3 project now. After some research, I found an affordable source for the wheels - yoga/pilates rolls are the answer! The cheap ones measure 15cm in diameter and 30cm long, but they're only a few dollars/euros. Plus, they come in black, which is perfect. EDIT 04/10/2017: Many people have downloaded these files, but nobody's reported any results yet. Since I haven't had time to make the wheels myself, I'd appreciate your feedback or "makes" - let me know how it works for you please! This is my attempt to build a bush wheel for my 2m-wingspan RC plane, a 1/5 (20%) Piper J-3 from Great Planes. The wheel will be printed in two halves and bolted together with M3 bolts and nuts. The wheelcap is optional. The tire can be made from hard foam and covered with a black balloon - I still need to test this method though!
