The fan's hinge snapped severely. It's likely due to the age and brittle plastic. I managed to replicate the broken part as accurately as possible, and fortunately, everything works smoothly now that it's fixed. To access the cable, which passes through this section, you need to dismantle the entire control unit entirely. This can be a bit tricky, so make sure to take clear photos of where each wire is connected.
