Alarm- or Dogwhistle - Name Addible
thingiverse
A dog-whistle was one of my first designs back in 2015. It was very angular - this was a lot easier for me as a beginner. And of course I needed a flat face for the text - a dogs name was placed there. Now I wanted to make the whistle a bit more fancy. It´s slimmer, shorter and it´s basic form is round. I still use Freecad for the base design, then I took Blender to add the text. You do find four versions here: * blank doggie 5700 Hz * blank alarm 2600 Hz * "Alarm!" 2600 Hz * "Good Girl!" 5700 Hz * "Good Boy" 5700 Hz The herz-values are measured with an app - I don´t know how exact this is. Both are very loud - be carefull not to harm anyone by using it near the ear. The 5700 Hz seem to be not so load - but this one is well heard by our dogs. I add the Freecad-File and the Blender-File as well. The text in Blender is still text applied with a lattice. So cou can select the text, enter "edit" with TAB and change the Text as you like.
