Alarm clock repair assembly stand
thingiverse
To make reassembling a key-wound alarm clock simpler, use this stand when cleaning its parts. To assemble the clock: secure the four posts of the movement to the front plate with the movement's nuts. Place the front plate on the stand so that the three tubes align perfectly with the tall screws of the movement's three posts, and the fourth tube rests against the plate. The plate will now be level and clear of the tabletop as you insert the movement's wheels into their designated spaces. When repairing budget-friendly bedside alarm clocks, I discovered that my standard stands didn't fit these smaller movements. This stand is designed to hold the front plate of such a clock face down and level, preventing desktop contact from pushing the pivots out of place while placing the wheels into position. The stand was specifically designed for the "Advance" and "Organtick Geneva Clock Company" brands of cheap key-wound alarm clocks, but due to their resemblance to older designs, it may also fit older alarm clocks.
