This exquisite, handcrafted alabaster vase stands approximately 19cm tall and measures a diameter of 7.8 cm across. The distinctive grain of the stone runs diagonally around the body of the vessel, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship. This stunning piece originates from the Old Kingdom era, specifically dating back to the 6th Dynasty, which spanned from approximately 2345-2181 BC. It is a part of the esteemed Lotti von Wendels estate collection and has previously been owned by Brunner before being acquired for the Ägytische collection at the University of Tübingen, where it can be identified as Inv. Nr. 2055.
