Al-Thuqaibah flourishes as an Iron Age II settlement, thriving from 1000 to 600 BCE. Situated south of Dhaid, at the southernmost tip of Al Madam oasis, it resides within the central heart of Sharjah Emirate in the United Arab Emirates. For thirty years, archaeological teams from Sharjah, France, and Spain have meticulously investigated this ancient site, unearthing mud-brick houses, lush gardens, and tangible proof of mud-brick craftsmanship. Beneath the surface of small basins lie hundreds of remarkably preserved footprints. The Global Discovery House (GDH) has successfully completed high-resolution scanning and photogrammetry to meticulously document the basins and their contents. Basin 30 is now fully processed in Reality Capture from an impressive 453 images.
