Al-Thuqaibah is a sprawling Iron Age II settlement that flourished between 1000 and 600 BCE, located just south of Dhaid at the southern tip of Al Madam oasis in central Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. Over three decades, archaeological teams from Sharjah, France, and Spain have meticulously excavated the site, unearthing remnants of mud-brick houses, lush gardens, and evidence of a thriving mud-brick manufacturing industry. Hundreds of remarkably preserved footprints remain visible at the bottom of small basins, frozen in time like intricate murals. The Global Discovery House has taken the next step by conducting high-resolution scanning and photogrammetry to meticulously document these basins and their preserved features. Specifically, basins 15 and 37 have been painstakingly processed using Reality Capture from a staggering 402 images.
