Construction of the skyscraper began in 2005. It was finished in 2011. Designed by architectural firms Skidmore, Owings, Merrill and Ramshir and Callison, it stands as the world's tallest carved concrete skyscraper and the thirtieth tallest building globally at 414 meters high. The tower utilizes wrapped glass facades on its east, north, and west sides to enhance aesthetics and minimize reflective surface area on the south facade, which features brushed Jura limestone. Flared walls extending from the southwest and southeast corners of the core span the entire height of the tower, and there is a 24-meter-tall lobby free from columns. The landscape was designed by Francis Landscapes. The tower made TIME magazine's list of the best inventions in 2011.
