AkroBin-Small Front Plate (for Hornady Progressive Reloading Press catch bin)
thingiverse
Ugh! Can't stand it when completed rounds start bouncing out of the little red AkroBin and hitting the floor! It happens around 80 times with 9mm, 70 times with .40SW, 60 times with .45ACP, and less than 50 times with .223/5.56, right? Frustrating! This quick-to-print little gizmo fits perfectly into the front "label holder" and stops the fancy brass/copper/lead from bouncing off the concrete floor forevermore! It's thin and has gaps on both sides as a trade-off for very easy printing with minimal supports (see printing notes). A couple of external struts keep the plate extremely stiff in actual use. The photo with reloads shows 160 rounds of .40SW sitting comfortably. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: MakerGear M2 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 20% is plenty Notes: Add one support at the toothy little gap on the back side, and a raft might help keep this very narrow print upright even on less-than-sticky beds during the radical infill vibration. I printed it with eSun PLA "Plus" with 3x solid bottom/top/outline and 20% infill.
