AkroBin End Cover
prusaprinters

I noticed that the AkroBin on my Hornady press started overflowing before it was filled to capacity due to the open area on the end of the bin.

I made up a few designs to help with this: one requires some minimal supports (the standard version) and one requires no supports (the short version), although there is about a 1/4" gap on each side of the cover. The gaps would be fine for almost all standard cases or loaded ammunition, but something like a .223 bullet could possibly slip through. If the gap is no problem, you can save a bit of time and filament by printing the short version. On the standard version, the supports do break off very easily and cleanly though.

Looks like both Hornady and Dillon use these bins. My AkroBin is model 30210, but I think would fit any others that are 4.125" width.

Print instructions

For standard version, print longest direction vertically and just have supports immediately under the area not touching the build plate - there should be no other supports required, so you can block them out if needed.

For short version with gaps, print longest direction vertically and no supports are needed.

I printed mine in PETG, .4mm nozzle, .2mm layer height, and 25% infill.
