AKM Brake Jig
grabcad
I crafted this jig with six distinct sides to accommodate brake installation in a mill for milling operations and tackle projects on all six facets. This design was specifically tailored to function seamlessly with a brake I conceptualized that would be utterly impractical to execute in a lathe without live tooling capabilities. Although I currently have access to lathes equipped with live tooling at my college, I graduate soon and sought to prepare for the inevitable lack of this resource. The pins are not included, but they are 4mm pins that can be sourced from McMaster-Carr (https://www.mcmaster.com/91595a128) or any other supplier you prefer.
