The model showcases a meticulously assembled weapon, heavily influenced by the iconic AKM, designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov. As a modernized version of the AK-47 rifle from the 1940s, the AKM gained popularity with numerous countries after its introduction to the Soviet Army in 1959. Despite being replaced by the AK-74 in Soviet frontline service in the late 1970s, the AKM continues to be widely used around the globe. The Tula Arms Plant and Izhmash were responsible for manufacturing these Soviet rifles.
