Andrew L. Weekes 7 hrs I find it really useful to use my printer for making things that solve everyday problems. I've got a pair of AKG Y50BT / C50BT Bluetooth headphones, which have one small design issue - when you fold them away to store them, they touch and accidentally turn on the power button. This often goes unnoticed until I discover I'm unable to hear anything from my phone because the headphones are connected! It's especially frustrating when driving a car and the phone connects to the AKG's instead of the vehicle's Bluetooth. The finish also tends to get scratched where the two earpieces meet, so I created a simple spacer that keeps them separated in storage. This not only solves both problems but also serves as a convenient stand for my desk, allowing them to sit upright. Next, I'm planning to line the interior with some soft felt for extra protection, but even printed in SUNLU PLA+, which is softer and less abrasive than standard PLA, they work well enough on their own.
