Akali–the Fist of Shadow

There exists an ancient order originating in the Ionian Isles dedicated to preserving perfect harmony among all things, for such is the natural way of the universe. This order, known as the Kinkou, employs a triumvirate of skilled shadow warriors to uphold its causes worldwide. Akali is one of these elite warriors, entrusted with the sacred duty of Pruning the Tree - eliminating threats that disrupt Valoran's equilibrium. A prodigious martial artist, Akali began training with her mother from infancy, mastering techniques with her fists as soon as she could grasp them. Her mother's discipline was unwavering and unforgiving, but grounded in an unshakeable principle: "We do what must be done." When the Kinkou initiated her into their order at fourteen, Akali could slice through a dangling chain with a swift hand chop. It was clear - she would succeed her mother as the Fist of Shadow. In this role, she has had to carry out tasks others might deem morally questionable, but to her, it's all part of serving her mother's unyielding doctrine. Now, Akali works alongside Shen and Kennen to maintain balance in Valoran, their pursuit leading them inevitably to the Fields of Justice. "The Fist of Shadow strikes from the shadows of death itself. Do not hinder the balance."
