"あかべこ"は日本の福島に伝わる郷土玩具です。方言で赤い牛という意味です。疫病を払った伝説の動物に因んでおり、魔除けの効果が期待されています。 本来赤べこは頭部が揺れる構造をしていますが、このモデルではネジで固定するケースにアレンジしました。 一刻も早くCOVID-19が終息しますように。 "Akabeko" is a local toy from Fukushima, Japan. It means "red cow" in the local dialect. It is associated with a legendary animal that drove away plague and is expected to ward off evil spirits. Originally, Akabeko has a structure in which the head swings, but this model is arranged in a case that is fixed with screws. We wish that COVID-19 will come to an end as soon as possible.
