AK to AUG Airsoft Adapter

AK to AUG Airsoft Adapter

thingiverse

A universal adapter for airsoft, born from combining two other adapters, requires modification to fit into an AUG and is inferior to a standard AK mag catch. However, it is easy to print and has provided smooth BB feeding without any issues. Two files are available due to corruption problems. The v1b file should be the best option; if that fails, try using v1. This adapter was created by merging WirierEcho's NATO mag to AUG mag design with Enone's M4 adapter for AK mag. Thanks go out to both of them for allowing me to use and share their files. A version 2 may come in the future, featuring an improved AK mag catch and appearance, but right now it's not a priority; this project was just for fun. Print Settings: Notes: Printing advice is limited, as I'm new to printing; Enone suggests printing his design upside down with supports. I follow suit. Post-Printing: File needed A bit of filing will be necessary to get the mag fitting properly into an AUG. Take it slow and avoid modifying the parts that directly interact with the mag catch if possible. The area needing most attention is likely at the top, where the adapter may be slightly too tall. How I Made This I took the components from WirierEcho's and Enone's designs and connected them in Blender to create this adapter.
