AK Fatshark Goggle Power
thingiverse
Pilots can build their own power module for the Fatshark goggles, utilizing a variable power regulator to control any connected LiPo battery and supply only 2S power to the goggles and fan. This setup eliminates tension on the power port of the goggles by mounting the module directly onto the headband. A LED indicator is added to display when the module is receiving power, providing a visual cue that the power is being regulated. The reduced brightness of the LED compared to full unregulated power indicates that the regulation system is functioning properly. This DIY solution is beneficial for pilots who prefer to fly with large LiPo batteries in their pockets or want a backup power source for their goggles by connecting their flight packs directly to power them.
