Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a tactical first-person shooter video game developed by Valve Corporation and published by Valve. It's the fourth main installment of the Counter-Strike series, preceded by Counter-Strike (1999), Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (2004), and Counter-Strike: Source (2004). Gameplay in Global Offensive is similar to previous games in the series. Players are divided into two teams: the Terrorists and the Counter-Terrorists. The Terrorists must complete objectives such as detonating a bomb, while the Counter-Terrorists must prevent them from succeeding, or complete specific objectives of their own. There are four game modes available in the game: Bomb Defusal, Hostage Rescue, Arms Race, and Deathmatch.
