07 June 2021 update: -ADDED part TOP LEFT with engraved text if you want the text on top and want print the part upside down, you can use this part with the text MiSTer engraved in it. -REPLACED parts RIGHT A,B,DGT and LEFT USB 1 and USB 2 I added small hexagonal grids under electronics to prevent touching it with fingers. Connection of the USB hub. At this stage you can't connect the usb hub using the micro usb connector on usb hub, you need to use the P1 pcb connector. if you want to use the micro usb connector you have to make a hole in the printed part (with a software before printing or with a drill after printing). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This design is based on my previous design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4343777 You cand modify it and adapt it to your needings. This is a case made especially for MiSTer FPGA computer and A-JAZZ AK33 keyboard You need some M3 nuts and bolts. i have some kits bought on amazon, you also need a USB to PANEL, a USB adapter and a LAN adapter. i used these: * https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B01MSIE5HO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (RIGHT angled) * https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07QYM1KVK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 * https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07BPDSFJY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I suggest to use some temperature resistant materials because inside the case temperature could raise to deform standard PLA. i didn't test it, i think the best material would be PETG or ABS, i printed in PLA + (sunlu) and in about a month i hadn't any issues. the assembly should be stright forward, assemble the lower case using 3 M3 screws, i put a picture to show how mount the adapters and how mount the screw in the DE-10 & io board assembly. i'll make a video in the future, as soon as i finish the top electronics board. mount electronics using M3 (if connectors do not face perfectly holes you can add some washers to raise the boards) YOU NEED TO PUT THE ASSEMBLED MISTER with connected LAN ADAPTER in a single "go", it is a little tricky but easy to do. No more screws on the top cover :) Assemble the two top covers with two M3 screws, put 3 nuts on the base assembly then you can screw the top cover with 3 M3 screws on the back You also need to made a breadboard with 3 pushbuttons and 3 leds and connected it to relevant connectors on io board. you'll need 3mm or 5x2mm leds and 6x6x4.3mm i had from this kit: * https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07XWXV1TS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There are two top right cover, one with 3mm round leds and one with 5x2mm rectangular leds. for 3mm leds you can use this: https://www.amazon.it/DiCUNO-emettono-lampada-resistore-assortiti/dp/B07CZHMNP6/ref=sr_1_20?__mk_it_IT=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=3mm+led&qid=1610527869&s=industrial&sr=1-20 unfortunately i wasn't able to find a link on amazon for rectangular 5x2mm leds the keyboard is sunked in the case, you can backflip and it doesn't fall down, however to make it completely immobile i suggest to further fix it to the case with double sided tape. I suggest also you to use a shorter micro usb to usb cable to connect the keyboard, i used a 15cm one but it is very tight, so *at least* 20-30cm cable would be ok. there are two version of LEFT USB case: V1 is for V1 to V1.1 usb hubs and V2 is for V1.2 and V2.1 usb boards. i only have V1.1 usb board, so i wasn't able to test the V2, but it should work. For V2 USB HUB you have to use P4 connector, since micro usb connector is not exposed. if you need to use it anyway, you have to make a hole. i didn't designed a placeholder because i do not own V2 atm. There are 3 versions of RIGHT case: A = for IO boards up to V5.2 and AIO board B = for IO boards from V5.5 to V6.1 DGT for DIGITAL io board. the RIGHT part have a placeholder for 2.5" SSD or HDD. i suggest, for convenience, to use the kind with directly usb port onboard instead sata port + adapter The left part have some placeholders for future expansions and for two more usb to panel cables in case you want to have access to the internal usb ports from external. the "MiSTer" writing on top (left) case it is different now, it is relief, if you want to print in another colour, like i did, you have to put a pause at the right layer then change the spool then resume the print. there are lot of tutorials on the web on how change color during print. You can however print it in the same colour or use the NO-TEXT version and glue your own text.
