I always stick with low-profile membrane keyboards. Now, I've got a chance to get my hands on an affordable mechanical keyboard. The AJAZZ AK33 has surprisingly little noise compared to what I expected, and it's actually quieter than my old Dell KB216 was. However, I'm not thrilled about its travel distance, so I came up with this plate that inserts under the keycaps to reduce travel without compromising functionality.
