Form for Making a Replacement Gasket for the Airzound. Since the original gasket had been vulcanized, I needed to create a new one from scratch. The mold used for this process is made of ABS plastic and is carefully treated with acetone fumes to achieve a smooth finish. The replacement gasket itself was crafted from sanitary-grade silicone, which was further enhanced by adding potato flour to its composition. This specialized material provides an ideal balance of durability and flexibility. Fortunately, the process of creating and installing this new gasket is relatively straightforward.
