Airwolf Axiom Dual Direct drive compatible extruder gears
thingiverse
I was unimpressed by the quality of the original 3D printed gears on my Airwolf Axiom extruder. I reached out to Airwolf and was told that they only sell replacement parts, not provide files for the gears, so I decided to design a pair of gears compatible with the Airwolf Axiom Dual Direct Drive 3D printer. These gears are not the original files used by Airwolf in their 3D printed extruder assemblies. Instead, I created an independent model that matches the gear ratio of the originals, ensuring that settings remain unchanged if these gears are used. Important Note: You may need to adjust tolerances and fits for the gears to fit your specific printer's hardware. The gears shown in the photos were not installed on my own printer; I used a Form 2 with durable resin to create solid gears with low friction.
